Sodas J.M. Dybala to Eagle

John M. Dybala/ Dybala’s Spring-
John Dybala was a bottler in Woonsocket, RI. He was operating with no permit in 1922-24. In 1925-1930 he was listed at 228 Orchard St. He was first listed as J.M. Dybala Bottling Works in 1926. They were bottling orangeade at the time. The company was called the J.M. Dybala Bottling Works in 1927. They were bottling Orange Crush in 1930-1943. The company became Dybala’s Spring Bottling Works in 1931. The UBB lists the J.M. Dybala Bottling Works until 1935. It was called the Dybalas Bottling Works Inc. (or Dybalas Spring) in 1936. It was at 46 Thomas St. from 1931-1980. A Dybala’s Spring calendar dates to 1944. It was called Dybalas Spring Bottling Works Inc. in 1950. In 1991 Francis M. Dybala was the president, Josephine Dybala the vice president, and John M. Dybala the treasurer. It was still listed in 2000, but went out of business shortly thereafter.

Eagle Bottling Co. (Warren)-
The Eagle Bottling Co. was first located in Warren, RI. It was not listed in 1920, but in 1922 it was at 84 Child St. The Beverage Bureau lists it as being established in 1921. It was at 234 Child St. in 1925-1935. 1944. Zygmund Grzebin was the proprietor in 1927-1934. It was called the Eagle Bottling Works in 1927-1939. It moved to Bristol, RI in 1936.

Eagle Bottling Co. (Bristol)
The Eagle Bottling Co. was located in Bristol, RI. It was originally located in Warren, RI. In 1936-1949 it was at 9 Thompson Ave. in Bristol. Augusto C. Ramos was the owner. It was at 15 Bay View Ave. in 1950-1975 (1993?). Daniel and John P. Ramos were the owners in 1963.

Eagle Bottling Co. (Cahill)-
The Eagle Bottling Co. was located in Providence. Daniel J. Cahill was the proprietor in 1903. He was listed as a teamser in 1896. It appears he was listed in directories only under his name. He was listed as a bottler from 1897-1903. It was likely on 10 Ames St. or Knight, cor. Tell St. Daniel was working in a police station in 1904. This company was not related to the Eagle Bottling Co. that was located on Atwells Ave.

Eagle Bottling Co. (DiOrio)-
The Eagle Bottling Co. was located in Providence. In 1905-06 James DiOrio was dealing in mineral waters at 396 Atwells Ave. The Eagle Bottling Co. was at 396 Atwells Ave. in 1907-08. James DiOrio was the manager. He was president of the American Bottling Co. from 1901-1904.  It became the Queen Spring Water (later Bottling Co.), which was at 398 Atwells Ave. in 1911-13. James DiOrio was the owner. It was still listed in 1927, and became the American Beverage Co. in 1928.
